Her Review by Ammar Akhtar

Her stars Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara and Scarlett Johansson. IMDb synopsis: A lonely writerdevelops an unlikely relationship with his newly purchased operating system that's designed to meet his everyday need.

Based on the film synopsis, this may seem like an odd plot to some of you. We don't usually see a love story like this ever. But, this is what makes the movie so special. It's unlike anything we've ever seen before.

All of the actors did a magnificent job, especially Joaquin Phoenix. He displays a wide range of emotions, from happiness to anger and depression. He really felt like a real human. Also, Scarlett Johansson as the OS Samantha was a great performance. She wasn't just a computer. The way she talked just felt so real like an everyday person. It was hard to believe that she was just some sort of robot. She's simply much more than that.

The story itself is really great. As I said before, it's unlike anything we've ever seen. It's really great to see some originality in the film industry. Nowadays, it feels like everything is adapted from a book or is a sequel. It's nice to see something new.

Another great quality I loved about the film was the wide range of emotions. We see at first happiness between Theodore and Samantha, but then things start to fall apart. Both actors did an outstanding job doing this. Their emotions felt so real. Some parts I was happy to see them, but others I was sad to see them apart. The performances were just excellent that it made the emotions real.

Overall, I love this film. It is a brilliant take on a love story. It seemed like this could actually happen in reality. Everything about it was great. Even the shots were breathtaking. It's a beautiful, emotionally-driven film that you should definitely not miss.

MY SCORE: 9.5/10
