Horrible Bosses 2 Review by Daghan Dalgic

The crew is back in the sequel to the 2011 comedy blockbuster, 'Horrible Bosses'. Despite the title, this time, the loveable trio is trying to run a business. They get conned by a billionaire and decide to kidnap the man's son to blackmail him.

What makes the 'Horrible Bosses' franchise unique are the non-stopping surprises in the sequence of events. You can never predict what is going to happen, unlike the other comedies these years. The twists were very fun but sometimes, they were a little bit too much.

The highlight of the movie is the instant and fun chemistry between the three main characters. Charlie Day, Evan Bateman and Jason Sudeikis work so well together. Chris Pine and Christoph Waltz are great additions to the cast. We have some old faces return with Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx and Kevin Spacey. Jennifer Aniston and Jamie Foxx were even funnier in this movie however, as much as I like Kevin Spacey, it felt like he was added just for the trailer. He did not add anything to the movie.

Overall, 'Horrible Bosses 2' is a very fun movie. It has a few dumb sections but it succeeds at keeping elements from the first movie whilst having new additions. You will definitely enjoy this, if you enjoyed the last one and if you are looking to have a fun time.

Score: 8/10
