'Suicide Squad' Comic-Con Trailer + Review

Well, it looks like DC was gracious enough to officially release the 'Suicide Squad' trailer shown at Comic Con after all the leaks were released on the internet. If you haven't seen it already or want to see it in a better quality, here's your chance:

I thought this was a fantastic trailer. When DC released the picture of the Suicide Squad, they all looked very odd and pathetic, but after seeing this trailer it calms my nerves down. Their looks work with the tone of the movie, and it didn't really bother me as much. However, I'm still worried for Jared Leto's Joker. In my opinion, Heath Ledger gave the greatest performance I've seen from any actor with his interpretation of the Joker, so Leto probably won't top his brilliant work. I still think that Leto looks really odd with his tattoos and that laugh sounds like an old grandpa! But, I do think he will give a great performance based on his small line, "Oh I'm not gonna kill you. I'm just gonna hurt you really, really bad." That's a GREAT line, and I hope he'll be able to express more of his though-provoking lines in the movie.

Overall, I think this trailer showed us the dark and gritty tone of the story. The Squad seems like a crazy gang of misfits released to spread chaos, and I think this will work for what they've shown us. I still have concerns for the Joker, but 'Suicide Squad' is definitely going to be one of my most anticipated films of 2016.
