Hello all. We finally have our first look at the new Bond film coming out later this year, Spectre. Here's the official teaser trailer if you have not seen it already:
Now I'm not the biggest Bond fanatic in the world. In fact, I've not seen the old films featuring Sean Connery, so my knowledge of Bond isn't the greatest. But, this trailer is fantastic.
One element of the entire trailer that's very interesting to me is that there is no action at all. This is very character-driven trailer since it features some mysterious elements to Bond's past. One example of this would be when he is handed the box and looks at that burned photo from the events that took place in Skyfall. Based on these scenes, it seems as though we will delve further into James Bond's past, possibly even more than we did in Skyfall. In that film, we only got hints of what his past was like, but it seems that this film will go further beyond by looking at this secret organization known as SPECTRE. I don't know much about it, but it seems as though Christoph Waltz is apart of it. It's also very apparent that James Bond has had some sort of connection with the organization.
Based on what we saw in this trailer, it looks like this could be a great film. Sam Mendes created an excellent Bond film and I'm curious to see what he has in store for us this time. This trailer was excellent and it did a nice job by not revealing too much. Also, I think this has one of the best trailer endings of all time!
Spectre is set to be released on November 6th, 2015 in the U.S. Will you go see it? Let us know...
