Top 5 Sequels of 2015

2015 is a big year for movies. Some great ones are being released, which includes sequels. Let's take a look at the sequels coming out next year:

#5: Ted 2

I enjoyed Seth MacFarlane's film about an adult teddy bear. It was funny, creative and loveable. I cannot wait until the sequel comes out. But, I am afraid this may not be good as its predeccesor. If you remember, MacFarlane recently had a not-so-great film called A Million Ways to Die in the West. He could fail to create a good movie. Overall, this film has the potential to be great. I'll definitely be checking this out when it's released.

#4: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

I absolutely loved Catching Fire. It had the right amount of suspense and action, along with the emotion and a good story. I don't know how Mockingjay Part 1 will turn out, but I am pretty sure that won't disappoint. I hope this doesn't either. This is the final movie of the Hunger Games series. I don't want to see this series ended badly! I believe it will be good, considering the fact that director Francis Lawrence did an outstanding job with Catching Fire. I'm excited for both of Mockingjay's parts.

#3: Jurassic World

I absolutely love Jurassic Park. The story itself and great visuals made the film splendid to watch. Unfortunately, it had sequels that were not as great as the first one. I hope this film isn't going to disappoint like the two of it's predecessors. Based on the new images, this seems to be a great movie. One, it's got Star-Lord AKA Chris Pratt. New images also lead to a possible future world where the park exists in. Overall, I am really excited for this film, but am afraid that it might be bad.

#2: The Avengers: Age of Ultron

The Avengers is one of Marvel's greatest films, and one of the greatest superhero films of all time. Forming a team of some well-known superheroes was great to see on the big screen. I had a lot of fun with the film. I am looking forward to the sequel. It's got a great villain, Ultron, who will be portrayed by James Spader. I saw heard some leaked audio of the trailer at comic-con, and Spader sounded really menacing! I also predicted that they could be doing a "next-generation" type thing with this series because of these other Marvel films being made. I heard some news that they might be heading in this direction. I hope they do because that would make a really great plot! Overall, I'm sure this will not disappoint and am really excited to seeing it.

#1: Star Wars Episode VII

Ok, I think we all knew this HAD to be number one. It's Star Wars. It's made a major impact in cinema history, and has influenced many other great movies like this years Guardians of the Galaxy. That being said, there have also been some films apart of the saga that are not so great (PREQUELS!!!!). But since being directed by J. J. Abrams, this film can be great. He succeeded with his Star Trek movies. Taking on this series is a challenge, but I think he will make it great like the originals. I also think it has a great cast, with Oscar Isaac and Andy Serkis, but I'd like to know more about the plot. Disney has been very secretive about this project. There was no booth for it at comic-con, and Disney didn't reveal any info. at their convention D-23 last year.  As time progresses, I hope to find out more about the movie. I am really, really, really excited for this movie. It's STAR WARS!!!

So those are my picks for sequels coming out next year. I hope all of these films turn out great. I am really looking forward to them.
